El rescate de una huella luminosa: implementación y puesta en valor del Archivo Fotográfico de la Sección Antropología del Museo Nacional de Historia Natural

The documentation, preservation and value of our photographic heritage is a task that should be undertaken from a transdisciplinary point of view, and according to the concepts and parameters of preventive conservation. This study aims at exposing the experience gained with the implementation of a photographic archive at the Anthropology Section of the National Museum of Natural History, giving a matter thought about the interdisciplinary approach as a working methodology for the preservation and documentation of photographic heritage, as well as analyzing and considering the implications and significance of the photographic image, both as a document and representation.
